Side-By-Side Pics Of Courteney Cox's Face Show How Much Fillers Change Her Look
Courteney Cox hasn't shied away from publicly proclaiming that she is a celebrity who regrets her face tune-ups. Additionally, when we see a side-by-side comparison photo of the "Friends" star from 2010 and 2015, it becomes hard to deny that she is one of the many celebs who look totally different without fillers. Although Cox looks undeniably gorgeous in both snaps, the after photo does show her sporting a broader chin with a slightly altered jawline as well as fuller cheeks and lips. Due to the number of changes in Cox's face, it's a little hard to imagine that the photos were taken only five years apart. However, the "Scream" star has provided an explanation for that.
During a June 2017 chat with New Beauty, Cox recalled how her foray into cosmetic tweaks started with a doctor mentioning that she could enhance her natural beauty with a minimal fillers. However, that small tweak soon snowballed as more and more people began to recommend the cosmetic procedures that helped them feel more confident while looking natural. "The next thing you know, you're layered and layered and layered," Cox shared. "You have no idea because it's gradual until you go, 'Oh s**t, this doesn't look right.' And it's worse in pictures than in real life." During a March 2023 appearance on the "Gloss Angeles" podcast, Cox admitted that she had started going overboard with her filler use in her younger years because she used to perceive herself as looking older. However, hindsight had enabled her to see her thinking as a "bummer" and a "waste of time."
Courteney Cox dissolved her fillers to achieve a more natural look
During Courteney Cox's chat with New Beauty, she was happy to share that she had dissolved her fillers. "I feel better because I look like myself," the Emmy nominee said. "I think that I now look more like the person that I was. I hope I do." Moreover, Cox had reframed her perspective to accept that her skin would likely lose elasticity as she paused her cosmetic tweaks. "Those aren't wrinkles —they're smile lines," Cox stated. "I've had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend."
Although the actor was in favor of sticking to a more natural look, she hadn't completely written off the possibility of getting additional work done in the future. Back then, she was a big believer in the benefits of microneedling and a proponent of laser treatments. After dissolving her fillers, Cox had taken extra care of herself with a good skincare regimen. During her New Beauty interview, she revealed that she had incorporated products like a firming serum, vitamin C, and peptides into her daily routine.
In a May 2025 Elle interview, the ex-sitcom star revealed that she was using a Retin-A solution enhanced with estrogen, retinol, and NAD. She also swore by Augustinus Bader's face moisturizer, which supposedly helps reduce the signs of aging on the face. All in all, it seems that Cox is faring just fine without the cosmetic fillers.
