Side-By-Side Pics Hint Taylor Swift Isn't Immune To The Filler Trend

The early-to-mid 2020s brought an era in which Taylor Swift was consistently in the spotlight, thanks to the unprecedented success of her Eras Tour, as well as the albums "Midnights," "The Tortured Poets Department," and "The Life of a Showgirl," all released within the span of three years (and we're not even counting her re-recordings). With the spotlight, fans couldn't help but notice that, come 2025, Swift began looking a bit different, which prompted many to believe that the musician had gotten injectables.

In particular, during her promo tour for her twelfth studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," Swift's face began looking more filled-in in certain areas. "I think specifically it's the cheeks that look really strange and overdone, she must've recently gotten cheek filler," a netizen speculated on Reddit, with another adding, "Whoever keeps giving her cheek filler needs to put their foot down and tell her it's too much."

Side-by-side photos of the star in 2012 and 2025 clearly showcase that Swift's face does look a tad different. Of course, the photos were taken more than 10 years apart, and natural aging can cause facial changes. However, it usually causes a decrease in facial volume, but with Swift, it seems as if her cheeks are more plump than ever. On Instagram, Dr. Jonny Betteridge, founder of JB Aesthetics in London, England, shared that he believes Swift has had cheek filler and potentially even a chin implant. "A more sculpted mid-face may result from volume restoration with filler," he wrote, adding that the same could be applied to her lower face.

Taylor Swift's face has changed noticeably since the late 2000s

When Taylor Swift appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" in 2025, fans were quick to notice that the star's face was moving oddly. And photos of Swift from 2010 clearly showcase just how different her eyebrows used to look. In 2025, the "Cruel Summer" singer's brows were much more lifted, creating a very unnatural-looking arch. Plastic surgeon Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich explained on his website that "excessive brow elevation and unnatural brow shape" are often a telltale sign of bad Botox application.

Fans also pointed out that Swift's facial changes were in the spotlight when the singer ditched her signature hairstyle. "I think the Botox/filler situation is a lot more noticeable when she doesn't have the full bang," a user commented on Reddit. Apart from her facial filler and potentially botched Botox, it is also clear that Swift's lips look slightly plumper, especially compared to what they looked like in the 2000s. And it is precisely because of all of these changes that recent Taylor Swift pics prompted "Mar-a-Lago face" allegations
