Pam Bondi's Most Unfortunate Hair Fails
We've noticed a pattern with Pam Bondi: when she gets comfortable with a style, she sticks with it. Take, for instance, the unflattering style Pam Bondi can't stop wearing. Even though her pantsuits aren't doing her any favors, she remains loyal to them. She appears to do the same with her hair. With all the possibilities of hairstyles out there, from updos, to moving around her part, to using styling tools to achieve curls or waves, she wears her hair in the same two styles all the time — a low ponytail, or down and straight.
And yet, with only two styles in her hair arsenal, she still manages to deliver flops. But maybe there's hope for Pam yet? Things are changing in Bondi-land. She's swapping politics for her new "important private sector role" that she's "thrilled about," per the canned press release she posted on Instagram in regards to her April 2026 firing. Because who isn't "thrilled" to get fired in the most public way possible? Maybe she'll also decide to step away from the staid hairstyles she's worn for as long as she's been in the public eye.
Pam Bondi's low-effort ponytails feel lazy at this point
Listen, we're not saying Pam Bondi should go all MAGA with her hair, mimicking the Trump ladies with long, full, extension-enhanced blowouts. But it would be nice to see her do something with her hair once in a while. For most of her tenure as U.S. attorney general, she pulled her hair back into a low ponytail, out of which a few layers would fall. As she heatedly addressed the Senate Judiciary Committee in fall 2025, the falling-out hairstyle only served to make her look disheveled and off her game.
How did Pam Bondi's uneven waves see the light of day?
We'd love to know how the wave in Pam Bondi's hair came to be. Was it braided, but she didn't have time to wash or straighten it before heading to the White House in February 2025? Did she not realize it was there? It's exciting to see a wave in her hair, as it's such a rarity. However, it's an unfortunate hair fail, as the front areas are straight, as if she managed to iron those pieces but omitted the rest of her tresses.
Pam Bondi's black-tie look fell flat
If you looked at Pam Bondi in this picture and assumed she was at work, that'd be a fair assessment. But no. She's at a black-tie event, the December 2025 Kennedy Center Honors. Aside from the fact that her outfit looked way too casual for such an event (her partner, John Wakefield, was wearing a tuxedo, to put things into context), her hair was her everyday look. Special events deserve a bit more effort, to show respect to the honorees if nothing else.
Bondi's brassy, chunky highlights aren't doing much for her hair game
Pam Bondi, or perhaps her colorist, needs to read the ultimate guide to fixing and preventing brassy hair. Why? For starters, orange-y locks are one of the most unflattering hair colors for older faces, as brassy tones can make mature skin look dull. At the Capitol in March 2026, we could see the brassiness on display with 60-year-old Bondi's chunky highlights that were pulled, once again, into a plain low ponytail.
A bow to visit Alcatraz? Another Bondi hair fail
There are absolutely appropriate ways to incorporate the romantic ribbon trend into your everyday wardrobe. But pick the right occasion when you add a bow to your look. Pam Bondi decided that, though she rarely ever wears a ribbon in her hair, it was time to sample the look to visit Alcatraz in 2025. We were actually excited to see Bondi do something different with her snooze-fest hair, but the girly bow? A distastefully bizarre choice for a trip to an old prison.
Pam Bondi may want to reconsider her hair-coloring strategy
When Pam Bondi visited the White House at the beginning of April 2026, photographers snapped her from above, with the resulting pics showing the attorney general's roots in need of some TLC. The previous root touch-up was also visible. Hard-to-maintain dye jobs like this are among the hair trends that are woefully outdated in 2026. Bondi and her stylist should consider the herringbone method of coloring so root regrowth isn't quite so delineated or visible. Especially when this is the image that will circulate around the globe when your firing is announced.
