Erika Kirk Was Embarrassingly Out-Dressed By Karoline Leavitt At Tag-Team College Talk

Erika Kirk is no stranger to total outfit flops. Despite the fact that Kirk lives quite the lavish lifestyle, her outfits miss the mark more often than not. Though she was once a pageant queen, the Turning Point USA CEO has seemingly abandoned all the style and glamour of her past. On April 2, 2026, Kirk hosted White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt at a Turning Point USA college event. Even though many of Karoline Leavitt's outfits are making her look so much older, she still out-dressed Kirk to an embarrassing degree.

Though Leavitt's 'fit wasn't quite the pinnacle of style, she still looked appropriate for the event in a business casual pink blazer, black slacks, and modest-height black heels. Meanwhile, Kirk looked more like she was getting ready for bed. The former Miss Arizona wore an all-white pantsuit that was far too baggy on her, as well as a pair of white platform sneakers.

While we know that a classic white sneaker will never go out of style when worn well, Kirk's choice of casual footwear stands out as disjointed — especially when you look at her next to Leavitt. The sneakers also stood out for the strange designs printed on their sides, including an American flag, a cross, and, seemingly, an image of her late husband, Charlie Kirk, holding a MAGA hat. Disconnected looks that fly in the face of dress codes seem to be common in MAGA-land — we still remember when Kristi Noem was embarrassingly out-dressed by Tulsi Gabbard at a 2024 campaign event.

Erika Kirk's other tour outfits have left much to be desired

While we know that Erika Kirk has made more than a few makeup mistakes, her outfits are never quite right either. The businesswoman is seldom seen without a face full of heavy makeup or an outfit inappropriate for the time and place. But, given her past as a pageant queen, it's no surprise that Erika Kirk has worn many sequin-heavy outfits that should've been saved for New Year's Eve

Take the festive gold sequined suit she wore while giving a speech about her late husband, Charlie Kirk, and his lessons on leadership at a Turning Point USA event in December 2025. Unlike the sloppy white pantsuit she wore alongside Karoline Leavitt, this elaborate ensemble seemed more appropriate for a holiday party than for giving an emotional speech about her husband.

We previously spoke to San Diego-based image consultant Cynthia Kennedy, a personal stylist who told us how Erika Kirk can elevate her dated pageant look, and she advised that Kirk embrace "intentional editing" to update her style. "Overall, refinement isn't about toning her down. It's about adding depth. When everything is high glamour all the time, there's no contrast," Cynthia Kennedy exclusively told Glam. "Adding a little structure and texture creates more dimensions. That is what turns someone from 'pageant' to 'polished public figure.'" Somehow we doubt that Kirk's overly casual white pantsuit and sneakers combo is what Kennedy had in mind.
