Pop Stars Who Can't Seem To Dodge Ozempic Rumors

With so many celebs hopping on the Ozempic trend, it doesn't look like GLP-1s are going anywhere. Pop stars like Meghan Trainor have had a complete weight-loss transformation since using meds, and she's been very open about it. "I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I've worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy," the "All About That Bass" singer shared on Instagram.

After seeing so many other singers slim down over the years, it's hard not to wonder if they're getting the jab as well. Many claim that they're getting fit through diet and exercise, which may very well be true. However, fans are not buying it, and have called out several of their fave hitmakers for their possible semaglutide use.

Jessica Simpson posting pics of her bod isn't helping the Ozempic rumors

Jessica Simpson's weight has been under scrutiny for years since entering the music world at 17 years old. In 2009, she showed off her slim figure during a performance while wearing high-waisted jeans and a black tank top, but the internet instantly slammed her for wearing "mom jeans." Over the following decade, Simpson's weight fluctuated after having kids, and by the time her third child, Birdie, was six months old, she celebrated a huge goal. "100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240). My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder," she shared in a 2019 Instagram post.

Simpson shed even more pounds over the years and proudly showed off her shredded bod while wearing a bikini in 2022. "I have gained and lost 100lbs 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I'm finally spring breakin' wearin' a BIKINI!!!!!!" she announced on Instagram. While fans were in awe of her hard work, others were quick to speculate that weight-loss meds were in effect. "You forgot to mention Ozempic," one quipped. Another wrote, "You look gorgeous and nobody should comment on bodies bc every body is beautiful but can you please be honest about the Ozempic for the younger generation. They try to attain this and suffer." Addressing the online chatter, Simpson told Bustle, "Oh Lord. I mean, it is not [Ozempic], it's willpower."

Christina Aguilera's dramatic 2024 weight loss had fans talking

Christina Aguilera was one of the hottest pop girlies during the Y2K era, but she was largely absent from the mainstream music scene after her 2018 album, "Liberation." That's why it was such a shock to fans when a TikTok video surfaced in 2024 of Aguilera looking way thinner than she was the year prior. Fans were quick to call her out for allegedly using GLP-1s, with one commenting, "Very demure, very Ozempic." Another joked, "I'm Ozempic in a bottle." One fan shared, "I didn't EVEN RECOGNIZE HER." While the "Dirrty" singer never admitted to nor denied using weight-loss drugs, she took to Instagram in December of that year to address the internet gossip. "Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/ or what you don't do. Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there."

Aguilera continued to maintain her weight loss a year later, and while promoting the Portola Festival on Instagram in September 2025, a user wrote, "Put down the Ozempic before you end up evaporating into thin air." The multi-Grammy winner still hasn't addressed the gossip, but before and after pics of Aguilera's face won't quiet Ozempic rumors. Her subtle attempt at nipping them in the bud obviously didn't work, but Xtina fans are still behind her, semaglutides or not.

Katy Perry's gaunt face is a surefire Ozempic tell

Pics of Katy Perry ignited Ozempic face rumors back in 2024, when she posted pics of her slimmed-down figure on Instagram. When a fan shared them on Reddit, many were quick to point out how different the "Woman's World" singer looked compared to years ago. "Take a look at her IG. Something went wrong with her skin around her neck, abdomen, and torso. She looks really dehydrated and like her skin is going to melt off," one commented. A Redditor replied, "The skin thing is probably a side effect of rapid weight loss on Ozempic."

Although Perry's continued weight loss is not as dramatic, her figure still had folks talking a year later. While showing off her toned abs in a revealing outfit in a March 2025 Instagram post, a fan shared, "I hate that sick skinny is back in ... I didn't even recognize her tbh." Whether or not the "Roar" singer is using a GLP-1, there's no denying that she has crazy muscle tone, which can't be achieved just by dieting. For fans who are curious about her workout regimen, Perry revealed in "Night of a Lifetime" (via the Express Tribune), "I hate working out. I love to dance and swim — things that don't feel like working out." She added, "I hear that my biceps were going around the internet. That's a little bit from my swimming."
