The Worst-Dressed Stars At The Devil Wears Prada 2 Premiere
The main stars of "The Devil Wears Prada 2" took center stage at the film's world premiere in glorious fashion. From Anne Hathaway's red dress that made her look so much younger than the one she wore to the 2006 premiere, to Meryl Streep's dramatic Miranda Priestly-chic cape, to Emily Blunt's avant-garde tulle Schiaparelli gown, and Simone Ashley's chartreuse minidress that showed off her fantastic legs, the leading ladies of "The Devil Wears Prada" sequel didn't come to play. However, some of the other celebs in attendance didn't quite wow us with their looks. After all, for the premiere of a film literally all about the fashion industry, you have to put your best foot forward.
"The Devil Wears Prada 2" red carpet saw celebrities falling victim to common fashion mistakes left and right; the worst-dressed of the attendees wore outfits with unflattering silhouettes, lackluster tailoring, and poor quality materials. Let's put it this way — if they were working under Miranda Priestly at Runway, they wouldn't even last a day.
Laufey's wrinkled satin dress was in dire need of a steamer
Laufey's "The Devil Wears Prada 2" premiere look was unfortunately a miss. The singer-songwriter, who will be featured on the film's soundtrack, tried to channel luxury fashion vibes with a simple, champagne-colored satin gown from Saint Laurent. While the concept was sound, the dress itself just didn't fit her well — there's a bit of pulling around her chest and waist. A more glaring issue, however, comes from the wrinkling at the bottom of the gown, concentrated near the daring split going up her left leg.
Heidi Klum looked beach-ready in her accordion-pleated caftan
While we love a flowy, bohemian vibe, "The Devil Wears Prada 2" premiere was not the right setting for Heidi Klum's seafoam green dress. The "Project Runway" host — who was also one of the worst-dressed celebs at the 2026 Grammys — stepped onto the red carpet in a sleeveless high-neck gown, complete with revealing cut-outs, accordion-pleated designs, and a wide train. While Klum's dress certainly made a statement, it was ultimately unflattering and shapeless. Not exactly the high-fashion look we were hoping to see from a former Victoria's Secret model.
Paige DeSorbo wore a cheaper-looking version of Anne Hathaway's dress
Bravo darling Paige DeSorbo was dressed (and out-dressed) by Christian Siriano for "The Devil Wears Prada 2" premiere. The "Summer House" alum wore a drop-waist sleeveless dress that bore a striking similarity to Anne Hathaway's stunning red Louis Vuitton gown. Unlike Hathaway's sculptural, perfectly tailored dress, DeSorbo's was made of a more inexpensive-looking material that attracted wrinkles to the puffed-out skirt and pulled around her waist. DeSorbo completed the lackluster look with a rather plain updo and minimal jewelry.
Ginger Zee's ruched yellow dress didn't fit the vibe
ABC News' chief meteorologist Ginger Zee should have left her dress on the rack. Zee wore a butter yellow off-the-shoulder gown to the premiere, made a bit over-the-top with fabric flowers and ruching across her midsection. Nothing about this dress suited the TV personality: the shade of yellow gave her warm-toned skin a wan appearance, and the cheap-looking floral appliqués made Zee look tea party-ready rather than Runway magazine-ready. We're not sure why fans commenting on Zee's Instagram post commemorating the event seemed to enjoy this look so much.
Rachel Bloom's dress needed better tailoring
Rachel Bloom needs to find a new tailor. The comedian was all smiles on "The Devil Wears Prada 2" red carpet, but the dress she chose for the event didn't quite match her enthusiasm. Bloom, who is set to appear in the film, wore a black sleeveless dress from Halston. You can find a perfect LBD no matter what your style is, but Bloom's didn't fit well around her chest — which left the bodice gaping open under her armpits.
Tara Lipinski was out-dressed by Johnny Weir
This isn't the first time Tara Lipinski has been out-dressed by her bestie Johnny Weir, and it probably won't be the last. Olympic figure skater Tara Lipinski's worst fashion mistakes often feature unflattering shapes and messy hairstyles, and her "The Devil Wears Prada 2" premiere look included both. Lipinski wore a black ruffled babydoll dress that hid her figure. While you certainly don't need a snatched silhouette to look stylish, this shape doesn't do much for Lipinski. Meanwhile, Weir looked stunning in a bold red coat and matching trousers.
Amelia Dimoldenberg's casual 'fit wasn't the statement look she thought it'd be
Amelia Dimoldenberg stood out at "The Devil Wears Prada 2" premiere for all the wrong reasons. The "Chicken Shop Date" host is beloved for her dry sense of humor. However, whatever joke she was trying to make with her "I Heart NY" T-shirt didn't quite land. If you've watched "The Devil Wears Prada," you know the film is set in New York City — one of the biggest fashion hubs in the world — so her cheeky, referential shirt wasn't necessary.
