Christina Haack Dissolved Her Filler And The Before & After Pics Are Stunning

Christina Haack, star of HGTV's "The Flip Off" and "Christina in the Country," is one of the many celebrities who have opened up about their plastic surgery experience. Always evolving her look, whether Christina Haack dressed for revenge or underwent some cosmetic tweaks, she was a victim of some frustrating side effects, and she's since had some of her facial filler dissolved.

Before and after pics prove just how much Haack's face has changed. In a photo taken in 2021, her under-eye area appeared smooth and full, as if it had been airbrushed. At the time, she was undergoing tear trough under-eye filler treatment; keeping up with the beauty trends at that time encouraged very full and smooth features. But after experiencing complications, she got rid of the filler in 2022, causing her under-eye area to appear more natural, allowing the area to age normally, as seen in a 2026 photo.

That contrast highlights how dramatically filler can change the face over time. Back in August 2025, we asked a plastic surgeon to break down the changes in Christina Haack's face, and Texas board-certified surgeon Dr. Raja Mohan noted differences from when we first met her in 2013.

Christina Haack's under-eye procedure that took a turn for the worse

Back in 2022, Christina Haack had her under-eye filler removed, telling her followers it was causing health issues. She posted a now-deleted Instagram Story stating, "In April, I had a reaction to under-eye filler. Super swollen and it wouldn't go down with time" (via People). She explained that she used hyaluronidase and ultrasound frequency treatments to help reduce the swelling and ultimately dissolve the filler altogether. "Never again," she said, in reference to getting filler in that area of her face.

Haack's under-eye filler mishap proves that the procedure isn't meant for everyone. When done properly, it can take years off your age, but when done wrong, it can lead to aesthetic complications like heavier bags, swelling, and bruising — and in even more severe cases, it could lead to blindness. Haack's experience proves that sometimes less really is more when it comes to cosmetic procedures.
