Anna Nicole Smith's life was tragically cut short, but her daughter Dannielynn Birkhead has consistently honored her legacy — and some of her most iconic fashion moments — to keep her memory alive over the years. Dannielynn was just five months old and moved to the custody of her father Larry Birkhead when Smith died in 2007, but her mother's influence on her life has always been apparent. Like a number of other celebrity kids who inherited their parents' famous style, Smith's flair for fashion seems to run in Dannielynn's blood, and her strong genes are strikingly evident in each and every photo of her daughter. Smith never got to watch her daughter grow up, but Dannielynn's familiar smile and her vintage-inspired fashion taste prove that her mom's essence will never be forgotten.

One of the most defining characteristics of Smith's look was her unforgettable smile, as well as her affinity for '90s glam. A former Playboy centerfold, Smith was the quintessential pin-up girl and she was one of those celebs whose makeup never left the '90s. Now, her daughter frequently carries on the same tradition. During a red carpet photo-op in 2024, Dannielynn rocked a toned-down version of her mom's famous smokey eye, while staying true to Smith's defined, arched brows. She also flashed the camera her beaming smile, which is almost indistinguishable from that of her mom's. Both Dannielynn and Smith also have a high lip line, which is extra visible in photos of them smiling, especially when sporting overlined lips.

In addition to her striking inherited facial features, Dannielynn Birkhead also takes after her mom when it comes to her wardrobe choices. She has not only worn looks reminiscent of her mom's famous style, but Dannielynn has even sported some of the exact pieces from Anna Nicole Smith's closet. Like a number of other celebrity kids who have borrowed iconic vintage outfits from their famous parents, it's hard not to notice Dannielynn is the spitting image of her mom when she steps into some of her recognizable, blast-from-the-past outfits.
Dannielynn, who frequently attends the Kentucky Derby with Larry Birkhead, once wore one of her mom's dresses to the Barnstable-Brown Gala in Louisville, Kentucky — an event that Smith had attended 21 years earlier in the exact same dress. Larry posted Instagram photos of Dannielynn wearing the dress in May 2025, noting that she chose the piece from Smith's archives as an homage to her late mom. The photos show her wearing the black, floor-length gown with rhinestone-encrusted straps at the neckline and across the back, while she even mimicked the same pose that Smith did in the photo from 2004. Dannielynn also wore her hair in a tousled updo, the same signature style that her mom often sported. We're officially seeing double!
