Sweet Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Moments Caught On Camera

We always have plenty to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple has experienced ups and downs over the years while in the public eye, and some royals fans claimed to see red flags in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship from the jump. But aside from the naysayers, many others felt that the couple were headed straight for the altar, even when their relationship was still new. From their very first appearance together, the two always seemed incredibly close, whispering in each other's ears, holding hands, and smiling at each other constantly. 

Even though the couple has been married for over eight years now, we still see plenty of photos of the two looking incredibly in love. While Markle's fashion choices often end up being the most talked about wherever they go, the dynamic duo's affectionate nature deserves just as much of our attention. 

On the last day of their 16-day royal tour in 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted walking hand-in-hand while visiting Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua, New Zealand. This shot of the happy couple is already adorable, but the moment was made even sweeter when fans realized that Markle was wearing Prince Harry's jacket during the romantic stroll. Prince Harry was spotted wearing the casual black puffer jacket just days prior, and we can totally picture a rom-com style "are you cold?" moment of him passing off his jacket to his wife. 

It's obvious why this shot of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their wedding in May 2018 made the list — the pure joy emanating from the couple is absolutely palpable. It probably isn't a stretch to say the day was one of the happiest of their lives. Although there were some snarky comments about her wedding dress (which we actually consider one of the outfits Meghan Markle doesn't deserve criticism for), the Duchess of Sussex was positively glowing. The couple are practically a Hallmark card in this photo.

While out and about on an unofficial tour of Australia in April 2026, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looked to be closer than ever. The couple were seen firmly holding hands and their mannerisms say it all: Meghan and Harry are still going strong — even eight years into their marriage. "Their love is so real," body language expert Patti Wood told Refinery29. "They each go to do the exact same touch to each other, and that leads to high marital satisfaction. That's an incredibly good sign for them."

The 2017 Invictus Games marked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first public appearance together as an official couple, and it caused quite a stir. The pair were cozied up throughout the event and made plenty of eye contact with each other while sitting courtside. Photographers snapped lots of shots of Harry whispering in Markle's ear, and it was overall a pretty strong relationship hard launch. It appears as though the couple were already very much in love the first time fans saw them together.

In August 2024, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry toured Colombia together, and throughout the trip, the couple showed off some PDA. As seen in this photo, Markle showed her support for the country by wearing a dress by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. Prince Harry, meanwhile, was all smiles as he went in for a cuddle with Markle, placing an affectionate kiss on her forehead. Some of the sweetest pictures of the couple are from their travels together.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2022 Netflix documentary "Harry and Meghan," gave us a closer look at the pair, and these cute photo booth shots of the two provided a look at their private life that fans don't often get to see. In the documentary, friends of the couple remarked on their fairy tale romance, including Ignacio Figueras, who was close to Harry when he first met Meghan. "You could tell right away that those were the eyes of someone that had fallen in love," he said (via People). Clearly, Meghan and Harry were quite affectionate from the very start of their relationship, and they still seem just as enamored with each other several years into marriage.
